SO MUCH UPDATE!

Well, apparently I have much to discuss in this (and future) posting(s) :

1. I'm halfway done with the much-needed update and transition of a really cool digital museum,

2. I've finally figured out how to revamp the CFI Libraries Twitter account,

3. I'm nearly done with my presentation for the upcoming Small Museums Association conference in Maryland in two weeks, and

4. My segment for the brand-new podcast that I'm a part of is finished and (hopefully) interesting!

Hooray for productivity!

Speaking of productivity, I have decided to make some scheduling changes to my life in general. Beginning with this month, coinciding with the beginning of the podcast that I'm a part of (which, by the way, is called "The Thirteenth Four" and I will be posting updates about its uploading, expansion, and upcoming episodes as soon as I get them), I plan to make regular posts on this blog (FINALLY!), with at least weekly regularity. There's a lot of things I need to expel from the realms of personal thought, and I think this might be an appropriate outlet. Not necessarily all personal business either, expect some gripes about job hunting, the confusion and weirdness of personal marketing, and the general trials and tribulations of modern librarianship in the digital age.  Fun stuff in store, eh?

Well, for now, it's late and I'm out of things to say (and an "Archer" marathon is seriously beckoning), so expect another post sometime soon. We're recording our first episode this weekend, after helping our friends move into their new place, so expect a few fun stories, at the very least!  I'm still trying to figure this whole blogging thing out (to be perfectly honest, that's pretty much what took me so long to really get this thing rolling in the first place), so it may be a little clunky at first, but I swear I'll figure it out eventually. I appreciate any and all patience that is granted to me, by readers or otherwise.

Talk to you soon, Internet.
